GARY BANUELOS

DIRECTOR OF SAFETY AND SECURITY/ BAR MANAGER/ PROMOTIONS MANAGER

Gary was born and raised in Oxnard, California. Right at the age of 18, Gary joined the US Coast Guard; where he served 22 years of active duty before retiring in 2018.

During his time in the Coast Guard, Gary was deployed worldwide conducting various missions including counter narcotics, anti-piracy, anti-terrorism, counter terrorism, and Quick Reaction Force for POTUS, VP, SECDEF and other dignitaries.

When Gary was stationed in San Diego in 2014 he started working in the industry doing security for multiple venues, tech companies and certifying to be an Explosive Detection Dog handler.

In 2018, shortly after retirement, Gary joined the Parq family starting off as Head of Security. Since then he has moved up to handle all aspects of Safety and Security operations for the venue as well as other roles in the nightclub as Promotions manager and Head of the maintenance department.
