DAVID BERNAL

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

David Bernal is a true San Diego native, he was born in Chula Vista and graduated from Mar Vista High School in 2005. David has always been interested in music, art and design. He started DJing at 12 years old and began working as a DJ in the San Diego nightclub scene at 18 and continued throughout college. After graduating high school, he attended New School of Architecture and Design and briefly worked in the architecture field. After realizing he craved artistic freedom, he took the opportunity to work in the nightlife industry full time as an AV designer and technician at Bassmnt Nightclub. David continued to grow his expertise in the AV field and took advantage of the opening of Parq Nightclub to work with top of the line lighting and production, when Parq opened in 2014. In 2015, David was promoted to a member of the Parq management team as the Technical Director. David has enjoyed creating memorable experiences through his production and design. He loves the challenge of creating diverse light shows that match the variety of music and events Parq has to offer. David wants to make sure every patron who enters Parq, has a night to remember.
