This Privacy Policy describes how WSA Entertainment LLC, doing business as Parq Nightclub ("Parq," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information in connection with our website at parqsd.com, our physical venue at 615 Broadway, San Diego, California, and our related services, including ticketing, private events, email marketing, and on-site dining and beverage service.
Parq is a 21-and-over venue. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 21. California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the "CCPA"). 1. Who We Are & Scope
This Policy applies to personal information collected by Parq through the website parqsd.com, online forms, the Parq mailing list, our on-site point-of-sale and door entry systems, and guest and customer interactions at our venue. It does not apply to third-party websites, ticketing platforms, or services that are linked from our site — those parties have their own privacy policies that govern their collection and use of information.
When you purchase a ticket through See Tickets, Eventim, or Eventbrite, reserve a table through SevenRooms, or submit an employment application through Paylocity, those companies act as the primary data controllers for that transaction and their privacy policies apply. Parq receives information from those platforms only as needed to confirm your reservation, admission, or application.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Contact form submissions: name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message.
- VIP and bottle service inquiries: name, email, phone, date of visit, party size, and preferences you choose to share.
- Private event inquiries: name, email, phone, company/organization, event type, guest count, preferred date, and budget range.
- Mailing list sign-ups: email address and, optionally, first name or interests.
- Employment applications: submitted through our third-party partner Paylocity (see Section 8).
2.2 Information Collected Automatically on the Website
- Usage data: IP address, approximate location (city/region), browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, time on page, and similar analytics.
- Device identifiers and cookies: including first-party cookies and third-party analytics and advertising identifiers (see Section 5).
2.3 Information Collected at Our Venue
- Age verification: visual verification of a government-issued ID at entry. We do not scan, photograph, or retain a copy of your ID in the ordinary course of business.
- Payment information: processed through our point-of-sale partner, Toast (see Section 6).
- Security camera footage: recorded on-premises for safety, loss prevention, and incident response.
2.4 Sensitive Personal Information
We do not intentionally collect "sensitive personal information" as defined under CCPA (such as Social Security numbers, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, or genetic data) from website visitors or guests. We collect limited sensitive information from employees (such as Social Security number for payroll) exclusively through Paylocity, our HR platform.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and fulfill requests you make (VIP reservations, private event bookings, contact messages).
- Process payments for admission, bottle service, food, and beverages at our venue.
- Send event announcements, offers, and mailing list updates if you have opted in.
- Operate, maintain, analyze, and improve our website and services.
- Verify age for entry and for alcohol service in compliance with California Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) requirements.
- Prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Use, and protect the safety of guests, employees, and property.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from government authorities.
4. How We Share Information
We share personal information with the following categories of recipients:
| Recipient | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Toast, Inc. | Point-of-sale and payment processing for on-site purchases |
| Netlify, Inc. | Website hosting and contact form submission handling |
| Google LLC (GA4) | Website analytics |
| Meta Platforms, Inc. | Advertising measurement via the Meta Pixel and related services |
| See Tickets, Eventim, Eventbrite | Ticket sales and guest list management |
| SevenRooms | VIP reservation and guest management |
| Paylocity | Employment applications, payroll, and HR administration |
| Email service provider | Delivery of mailing list and transactional emails |
| Legal, regulatory, and law enforcement authorities | Compliance with law, subpoena, or protection of rights and safety |
We do not sell personal information in the common-sense meaning of the term. However, California law defines "sale" and "sharing" broadly to include certain disclosures to advertising partners, including through pixels and cookies. To the extent our use of the Meta Pixel or Google advertising tags may be deemed "sharing" under the CCPA, California residents have the right to opt out — see Section 9.
5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the website, measure its performance, and support our advertising and marketing.
5.1 Categories of Cookies We Use
- Strictly necessary: required for the website to function (e.g., form submission, load balancing).
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4, which tells us how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
- Advertising: Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API, which help us measure the effectiveness of ads and reach similar audiences.
5.2 Managing Cookies
Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can manage Meta advertising preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
5.3 "Do Not Track" & Global Privacy Control
Our website honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where technically feasible, treating it as a valid opt-out of "sale" or "sharing" under the CCPA for the browser sending it. We do not separately respond to traditional "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signals, because no industry standard for DNT has been finalized.
6. Payment Information
Payments for admission, bottle service, and food and beverage at our venue are processed through Toast, Inc., our point-of-sale provider. Toast is a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor.
For information about how Toast handles your payment information, please review Toast's Privacy Statement.
7. Email Marketing & Mailing List
If you sign up for the Parq mailing list, we will send you emails about upcoming events, special offers, and venue news. We only send marketing emails to people who have affirmatively opted in.
7.1 Your CAN-SPAM Rights
Every marketing email we send includes a clear unsubscribe link. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in any email or by contacting us directly (see Section 15). We will honor your request within ten (10) business days and will not share your email address with other companies for their own marketing purposes.
7.2 Our Postal Address
As required by the federal CAN-SPAM Act, our physical mailing address is:
WSA Entertainment LLC · Parq Nightclub · 615 Broadway · San Diego, CA 92101
8. Employee & Applicant Data
If you apply for a job through the Careers link on our website, your application is submitted directly to Paylocity, which hosts our applicant tracking system. Paylocity's handling of your application is governed by its own privacy policy.
For current Parq employees, personal information (including name, contact information, Social Security number, wage information, and tax forms) is collected and maintained through Paylocity for payroll, benefits, and HR administration. A separate employee-specific privacy notice is provided at the time of hire.
California employees have the same rights under the CCPA as California consumers, including the right to know, delete, correct, and limit use of sensitive personal information. Employees may exercise these rights by contacting their manager or by emailing the address in Section 15.
9. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the following rights:
- Right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and — if applicable — sell or share about you.
- Right to delete personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information (we generally do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that trigger this right).
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
9.1 How to Submit a Request
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@parqsd.com or call (619) 727-6789. We will verify your identity before fulfilling a request, typically by asking you to confirm information we already have on file.
9.2 Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. The agent must provide written proof of authorization, and we may ask you to verify your identity directly.
9.3 "Shine the Light" Law
California Civil Code § 1798.83 allows California residents to request information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for those parties' direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
10. Other U.S. State Privacy Rights
Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have rights similar to those described in Section 9, including the right to access, delete, correct, and opt out of targeted advertising and certain sales of personal information. To exercise these rights, please email info@parqsd.com. If we deny your request in whole or in part, you may have a right to appeal — the email response will explain how.
11. Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with legal obligations (including tax, accounting, and employment records), to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. General retention periods:
- Contact and VIP inquiries: up to 24 months after your last interaction.
- Mailing list subscriptions: until you unsubscribe, plus a limited suppression record so we don't contact you again.
- Transaction records: as required by California tax and accounting law (generally 4–7 years).
- Employment records: as required by applicable law.
- Security camera footage: generally 30 days unless retained for an incident investigation.
12. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Children Under 21
Parq is a 21-and-over venue. Our website and services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (the threshold under the federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) or under 21. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of the Policy. If the changes are material, we will notify you by email (for mailing list subscribers) or by a prominent notice on our website before the changes take effect.
